- "A company that dumped the Amiga as soon as things looked a bit rough?"
-
- SAS Institute stuck by the Amiga through two major releases during which
- sales and income declined steadily. At a million dollars of development
- cost, I defy ANY other Amiga developer to claim that their support for
- their product demonstrated more support for the Amiga. The Amiga just
- could not support a professional development system product, pure and
- simple.
-
- Tell the truth: if you had to recommend to your boss that he spend
- another million dollars on the Amiga last year, would you have done
- so? If it was YOUR money, would you have spent it? It would have
- taken that much to come out with a Version 7 that had improved C++
- capability.
